Sushi Trays
Reader Isabel Feliciano writes: “I love these sushi plates, curved trays, and leaf trays featured in bamboocloset.com. They’re all made of capiz shells molded into unique designs that come in vivid colors. Sure came pretty handy for a Japanese-themed party I just threw over the holidays! Very affordable in sets.” If you’re not the sort who throws sushi parties, these would make dramatic snack holders. The green ones would look especially great with a handful of dried apricots and some walnuts. Thanks, Isabel!

The Beholder
The Beholder is an online gallery that lets you browse and purchase art in a range of mediums. The pictured painting, “Bogbean,” is by Marci Washington, and I have mercilessly cropped it for better viewing (forgive me). If Ms. Washington’s work doesn’t appeal to you, there are dozens of other artists awaiting your gaze.
